Arctic Stone

The CO₂-Reactive Circular Aggregate

Arctic Stone is a high-performance lightweight aggregate for structural concrete, designed to meet EN 13055 standards.

It delivers a higher strength-to-density ratio than traditional OPC-based concrete while significantly reducing emissions.

Made from recycled glass and mineral tailings, each granule is thermally sintered for low water absorption and coated with a CO₂-reactive calcium-silicate layer that captures and binds carbon through mineral carbonation.

After use, Arctic Stone can be upcycled into new aggregates with identical properties, enabling a continuous material life cycle.

The Sustainable Infill for Artificial Turf

Arctic Greenstone is a durable, circular mineral infill designed to replace rubber granules in artificial turf systems.

Made from recycled glass and mineral tailings, it eliminates microplastic pollution while maintaining optimal playability, stability, and drainage.

Safe for nature and built to last, Arctic Greenstone delivers consistent field performance under all weather conditions and contributes to a cleaner, closed-loop sports surface.

Rockpore is preparing its first full-scale pilot of Arctic Greenstone — a circular infill engineered to replace rubber granules in artificial turf systems and eliminate the release of microplastics.

The next development phase focuses on integrating a CO₂-reactive mineral component, enabling the infill to capture and permanently mineralize carbon dioxide during its lifecycle. The pilot will evaluate optimal installation configurations for this reactive material within the turf system.

The objective is clear: to develop the world’s first carbon-active turf system, combining durability, safety, and verifiable climate impact.
