We are pleased to announce that Rockpore has signed a Letter of Intent with Reykjanesklasinn for industrial space at the Iceland Eco-Business Park — a strategic milestone on our path toward localized, sustainable production with strong export potential. This marks the beginning of preparations for local production of our novel and circular material — Rockpore CLWA — engineered for Artificial Turf Systems and Structural Concrete.
Our materials are:
♻️ Circular by design
🌫️ Provide carbon sequestration capabilities
🔁 Enable reverse logistics and closed-loop reuse
🪨 Formulated from upcycled Norwegian mining tailings and Icelandic secondary raw materials — transforming industrial residues into next-generation, low-carbon aggregates.
We are committed to collaborating with local concrete producers to implement zero-waste strategies by incorporating recycled concrete into our formulations — supporting the transformation of Icelandic concrete into a circular, low-carbon building material. With strong partnerships and a clear climate mission, Rockpore is advancing sustainable material innovation from Norway to Iceland and later to the European market.
